My shoot on Saturday was at The Harbor in Rockwall. I’d never been there before, but I am definitely going back! We had a lot of fun and even though the family has already seen most of these, I thought I’d publish a little sneak peek anyway.

July 19, 2009We haven’t had internet for about a week. A technician came out this morning and was all, “Yeah, someone unplugged your cable from the street.” So that’s good. But we have internet back! And even though the session I did yesterday isn’t quite ready for a sneak peek yet, I’ve got to blog a picture! Here is little S, whom my own monkey still wants to play with even though we are now four hours away from her. And honestly, she actually loves having water dumped on her head!
Ham's Orchard
July 9, 2009There is a place about an hour east of Dallas between Terrell and Wills Point called Ham’s Orchard. They have fantastic peaches and even better peach icecream. We went today just before closing and little Monkey got her first taste of homemade peach soft serve. Needless to say, it was a hit. Grampa (”Bop-pa”) was by far the favorite of the day because he got a BIG ice cream that Monkey got to share.
Grampa’s favorite new thing is “Rub Noses” – like an eskimo kiss. About 75% of the time, Monkey decides she’s in a good enough mood to actually do it. Apparently, the ice cream put her in a pretty good mood.
